A Sip & See is a small get together for family and close friends. It is held after the baby is born, and is an opportunity for the mother to show off her baby to those who could not attend the Shower, or if Mom prefers a smaller gathering. The host provides beverages, and small nibbles. Typically there are no games. Guests are not expected to bring gifts, but a small item, such as a baby book, or something small for the mother is not uncommon.
